It’s basically a situationist film where the author detourned a cheap Hong Kong kung fu film and in its plot inserted a Marxist narrative of class struggle against its oppressors. I think it’s a nice and interesting way to interpret theory and can be a fun experience, plus it’s an action film which makes it entertaining.
